Kyra Ary-Turner is TurningWest’s newest addition. She is an industrial-organizational psychologist who graduated from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. While there, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Communications and a Master of Science in Industrial- Organizational Psychology. She has a published journal
identifying a correlation between job satisfaction and conflict management. While in school, Kyra became certified in Human Subjects research and is working on finishing her International Coaching Federation certification.
Kyra values grace, authenticity, self-awareness, communication, integrity, and prioritizing the team over the individual. She is passionate about conflict utilization, problem-solving, people-orientedness, and candidness. She prioritizes her growth by stepping out of her comfort zone, embracing challenges with effort and persistence, and learning from the wisdom of the TurningWest team. With 14 years of experience living overseas in Australia and China, Kyra also brings a cross-cultural perspective to her consulting.
Kyra is passionate about evoking self-awareness in others and empowering authentic growth through the lens of positive psychology. She aims to assist others in their personal and organizational development, enabling them to focus and maximize their effectiveness in creating positive change in the world.
Outside work, Kyra loves spending time outdoors, reading non-fiction, and playing board games with her husband, Tre. She dreams of returning to school for a Doctorate in Organization Development and to speak at a TEDx event.
